I like metal and hard rock. Some of my favorite bands are Avenged Sevenfold, Adema, AFI, Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, and of course Metallica.

Driving is my favorite place to listen to music I was having a crap day at work last week, so I took a half hour off and hit the highway playing things like MIA'* "Born Free," Robyn'* "None Of Dem," and this really filthy dubstep remix of La Roux'* "I'm Not Your Toy" by Nero (which I heard in a club once -- the bassline made it feel like my spine was gonna melt). And that'* all it really took to calm me down.
My musical tastes run all across the board, but my favorites for driving (when I don't just set my Walkman'* 1600-odd songs on shuffle) are things like Ladytron, AFI, Innerpartysystem, Robyn, Bad Religion, Ace of Base (no, seriously, I love Ace of Base), and anything by the drum n bass label Ohm Resistance. Especially Temulent. Some of his darker tracks make me insane on the road (and nothing says, "drive like a crazy person" like tracks with titles like "Kill For Me" and "Sarcoma").
So basically I listen to super bass heavy stuff (drum n bass, dubstep, some tech house and the rare not-crappy trance), electro, punk, and Swedish pop bands from Abba to Robyn and everything in between.
Which reminds me, need to make a post elsewhere about getting that second-hand subwoofer I just nabbed hooked up to power so I can really bother the wildlife...

I listen to country most of the time, but I also listen to pop. 4 outta my 6 radio buttons are pre-set to country stations & then the other 2 are set to pop stations. I can't really say who my favs are bcuz I love so many artists & their songs but I am most def a hugee fan of Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney & of course the classics like Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, & George Strait...just to name a few. Some of my fav pop singers are Beyonce, Selena Gomez, Ke$ha, & Shakira & then I got some random favs like Green Day & Lifehouse

unce unce music, or if you're into it, electro, electro/indie x-over stuff, some drum and base, dubstep, etc.
Still like my early 2000ish metal/hardcore/emocore stuff though.

I just remembered, if you want to listen to one of the most sarcastic/funniest songs ever, listen to Pray for You by Jaron and the Long Road to Love. You wont regret it.

I mostly listen to Hip Hop/Rap but I have been getting into the Rock scene here and there.. Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Mike Posner have got the most listens on my iPhone.. I enjoy listening non mainstream music because it shows where the artists heart is at..
