That was the same problem I was having when I made that video. To many big drifts pop up hidden by the white out.

Mother nature is sending us hatemail right now, and it is good.

Currently under a dusting of snow, roads are wet. Currently 23* outside my window, and supposed to drop in to the teens. There will be ice, and if all the wet stuff I see now is ice when I hit the road <about 3 hours> the roads will be iced from head to toe. I then have to drive home at 8am, hopefully there is enough solar gain to cut the ice. That is not even counting what happens in the next 2 days. We are smashing records. We are doing it in a town that is not prepared for this kind of thing, with drivers that are completely unaware how do deal with it, vehicle maintenance included.

They are estimating 6" accumulation by morning. Never a dull moment!

Snows about done here. We got ~8 inches of sleet followed by 2 in snow. I'm a big guy but I can still walk on top of the snow/sleet without busting through. The sleet is so thick that I managed to drive on top of it leaving the alley until the very end when I busted through and got stuck. Then I broke out the shovel for the last 3 feet. My wife just called me from work and said that more than half of her department (4ppl) have called in, so she'* going to have a good day.

Just finished clearing the driveway. What a pain. Ran out of gas for the snow thrower, but I just finished. Now I need to find out if I need to go in to work.
