Default Door weatherstrip repair

So, like half of the weather strip around my driver'* side door is gone.
With the cold weather coming so, I need to fix it asap.
I can get a whole new one of eBay for about $45 shipped, but I was hoping to get something for cheaper than that.
Is there lie a universal strip I can get and just cut the pieces I need to replace the missing one?
Where would I get it?

I wondered about a yard. I'll have to give a couple a call. Can I just kind of rip it off and just put it in with a couple of sheet metal screws or something?
