Lounge For casual talk about things unrelated to General Motors. In other words, off-topic stuff. And anything else that does not fit Section Description.

Does the forum seem slow

Ahh, still a good cooler, and no I did not notice the RAM, but I remember wanting that RAM at one point, sometimes I leave my PC on to help heat my room, like last night and tonight for example, so I did not go with as many lights this build.

If you always uninstall unused programs correctly, there is very little left over in your registry to worry about, so all I run is a good free Anti Virus (MSFT Security Essentials), Windows firewall, and my routers built in firewall, along with spybot *&D and Malware Bytes.
Running just those few things have kept me problem free for years.

Nice PC guts Art, I see you have a Zalman CNPS CPU cooler, at least it looks like a Zalman, the CNPS are a great line of aftermarket coolers, I ran one for years, now I am using a Thermaltake FRIO...
CCleaner also can clean out junk from your computer (such as temp files, leftover install crap, etc) and has a startup process viewer allowing you to enable and disable things on startup all from the same app (Personally I don't use MSconfig much because I rarely need into the other tabs, I'm always going there for startup)
