Getting back on topic...

This is my Giant Yukon, two years old. Full disc brakes, front suspension, heavy duty body (and just plain heavy...whatever), Shimano Delore components...and such. I have another bike too, nicknamed the "Green Meanie" which is a fully debaged Huffy . It sports traditional brakes that half work, rust finished rims and 2 whole functioning gears-and all I ask is it lasts a year at school before I trash it .

I used to have a Gary fisher. One of the best bikes I've ever owned asides from every time I wore pants, the legs of them would get eaten up on the crank sprocket

..The discs hydraulic or mechanical?

My mom has a huffy i put fenders on when I was younger that i found on a bike in the trash.. it looks kinda weird...but they did the job if it was raining or something.. while i was building the trek and the mongoose at the same time.. It'* got C brakes. Doesn't like to stop. They're like bonnevilles..even though the body will rust thru, it will still work

Mechanical. Or at least, I think. I have the wires and such going on, so I'm guessing that they are mechanical. The disc brakes were more a factor of me going "oh...this is cool", I wasn't looking for that much of a bike.
