im not necessarily trying to lose a ton of weight, im happy the way i am, but i just drink alot of this stuff

Actually, it'* a carbonated soda, or "soft drink"

and up until about 1991... the most revered term for it was actually "soda pop", not one or the other...

FYI - Diet Pepsi and Diet Coke are consider Very Low Sodium at those lvls and labelled as such per FDA Guidelines. I happen to have a bottle of each right here with me.
Coke is 35mg/8fl oz.
Pepsi is 25mg/8fl oz
