I lost a bunch of weight on diet sodas. Also, you find that normal sodas taste to thick and sugary after switching to Diet.

Diet Dr. Pepper was my favorite for a while, but now I like Diet Pepsi Max.

For anyone that DOESN'T know..and does care about what they consume...read this

Splenda is better. So whenever drinking diet soda, if possible, stick to splenda.

I know people who lost a bunch of weight by not drinking any kind of soda at all too. I'd rather drink no soda than drink diet – if I was trying to lose weight. I drink much less soda than I used to last year. Diet soda doesn't necessarily make people lose weight, especially those that drink large amounts of it.

But in keeping to the original topic title, it'* true, Diet Dr. pepper DOES taste more like real Dr. Pepper.
