It didn't take long to ruin Lash'* fun and determine that this was an urban legend. What does that say about the credibility of Ms Dudly (the Editor/Publisher) and the News-Tribune? She obviously made no effort whatsoever to verify the tale and it certainly didn't happen to HER! All too often the media is quick to publish "the story", whether or not they have any facts or verification of the facts. I've seen it time and time again, when I've been close to a news item, and have determined that if newspeople don't know the facts they'll just make them up. The news media has become nothing more than a glorified gossip ring (if it ever was anything more than that) and one cannot take everything they say as gospel.
