You tease!!!!
Should be an interesting year next year. I always figured if he left it would be to go to Childress. I am honestly not a fan of his, but I hope he does well on his own. Owenr/driver'* son't usually have much luck.

Frankly, I always thought that she JUMPED on Dale'* death and profited very well from it. Just my perception. This from a guy who barely pays attention to NASCAR but can't avoid it since I live near Daytona Beach.

**** I hope he goes to RCR and drives #3 with Budweiser. It said that no matter where he goes he will probably be with Chevy and Bud will most likely follow him.

Bud is confirmed to be following him. Their contract with DEI is up at the end of this Season as well.

Dale has confirmed (DEI insider) that he'll be Chevy and Bud next year. A DEI insider also reports that Martin Truex Jr (#1 car) will be going with him if he expands JR Motorsports (his current personally-owned Busch Series/Late Model teams). He'd expand to a two car (He and Martin) Cup team.

He just finished construction of a whole new race shop on his own property for these teams.

Sounds like his press conference today made it clear he wouldn't make a final decision until he heard offers from other interested teams. Smart move.

He'll never really succeed under the thumb of the evil B I T C H. It'* HORRIBLE that she'* kept the profits from DEI from the 4 kids (well, the three she didn't give birth to, anyway), when that was Dale Sr'* intent all along. It was for the kids.

DEI will DIE if Dale and Martin both leave. They'll be a 1-car Freshman team next year with Paul Menard in the #15.

Any team would be jumping at the chance to sign him. He'* worth about 27 million a year. He'* #10 on the pro athlete income list. Higher than anyone else in motorsports by far. Most of that is from endorsments and sponsorships, and about 25% of it is product sales with his number/sponsors/name on it.

I see the question popping up. What team would you like to see Dale Dr. drive for...

You know, that is a hard question! RCR, Hendrick, and Gibbs all have positives and negatives. RCR is the sentimental favorite, Hendrick has the best equipment consistently, and Gibbs is very strong and would be good fit between him and Stewart.

This is going to be interesting to say the least.
