holy shat!! that was some funny stuff!! the Circuit City one... you probably could get away with that today... they dont work on commission any more.. and the people that work in the TV section at my g'fs store...(cashier...checks for sig. on CC) would sell you those TVs and not even look at the screen. morons!

i dont even bother with the signiture on the back of the card. i just have "ASK 4 ID" written on the strip, and i did have it on the front too before it rubbed off. nobody asks, or even looks really. it was staring them in the face "ASK FOR MY FRIGGIN ID YOU IDIOTIC MORON!" yet they swipe, sign, and send you on your way. i have sent my dad to the store with it with no problems yet. i should sue some of these places. hand off my card to somebody, tell them to swipe away, report it missing the next day. sue all them places that let him buy stuff like that.
