yes and yes... pages seem to load a lil better now... pictures (like the smilies to the left) dont load fast, but the pages are loading now.... maybe its just my local cable company

Mine was slow when I used things like Kazaa, etc. Also, my entire system was slow when I installed .net framework during windows xp updates. I now avoid anything with .net framework involvement.

Have you made any hardware or software changes lately?

try this, it usually helps my computers... (you must have XP to do this)

1 .go to MY Network Places
2. on the left, click on the View Network Connnections
3. Right Click where it says Local Area Network and has your ethernet adapter listed.
4. after you right click, click on the tab that says Repair.

This usually fixes mine when it is slow.
