Default Classics of tomorrow?

Classics of tomorrow.....

Just like the 69 Camaro, Chevelle, GTO, Charger, Mustang, Gran Torino'* etc...of the late 60'*

What will the classics of tomorrow be? Besides our Bonne'* of course.

late 80'* stuff? Probably would include Cutlass Supreme, Regals, Daytonas, ETC...

Fiero for sure. I forsee those being a "Classic" sports car. They are close now to being that status, but they aren't exactly rare yet.

There are times where i'm not sure many FWD cars will be considered classics, with the return of RWD on many platforms/makes.

Domestics:
TGP/Mclaren GP, more of a rarity than classic.
94-97 Impala SS
Plymouth Prowler
04-07 GTO
First 1k Solstice
Delorean (already is)
Taurus SHO
Corvette ZR-1

Imports
MK IV Supra
MR-2, especially FI ones
FD RX-7 (Quite possibly best sports car of the 90'*)
Nissan 240'* could be a dime a dozen, TONS are around with the SR-20 swap.
Acura Legend (no pun intended)
VW Corrado
BMW E39 M5
BMW E36/46 M3'*
Air Cooled Porsche 911'*

94-97 Impala SS Already getting pricey
Plymouth Prowler
04-07 GTO May be plenty around since they didnt sell so good
First 1k Solstice
Delorean (already is) Agree, pricey already
Taurus SHO Don't see many that arent already rode hard and put up wet
Corvette ZR-1 Cha Ching!

Imports
MK IV Supra
MR-2, especially FI ones

no opinion of the imports since I dont keep up with those too much.

Yeah it may be tough to get people excited over anything FWD, most regard those as grocery getters.

Highly optioned GXP, GTP and the Allante come to mind, along with clean Reattas. Helps if they are very desireable colors

1990-95 Cutlass Supreme convertible

1995 with the 3.4 and white interior is going to command the highest prices, followed by the other interior colors of 1995. A close third will be a triple white 1994 with the 3.4 and HUD - only year HUD was offered on the 'vert and the last year for rear buckets. The 1990-91s probably won't see a very high collector status except for being ultra rare - 494 in 1990 and 1515 in 1991. 1992s received the facelift, but still had the anemic 3.1. Then 1993s got the 3.4 and rear buckets. Less than 25,000 were made throughout the entire run.

Additionally:
The 1989-90 Turbo Grand Prix and TSTE as mentioned above
1982-94 Sunbird convertible, particularly the turbo and V6 models
1987-94 Cavalier Z24 convertibles - not as much as the 'bird.
1987-92 Trans Am GTA - 5.7 cars commanding the premiums, of course.
1988-90 Pontiac 6000 AWD
1987-88 Chevy Celebrity VR
Quite possibly any 3.4/5 speed W body

i say the saleen and the mcClaren mustangs.. there was another comp in the mid 80s that did them too... besided rouch...

the fiero, the 80'* gnx the 442 the 90'* cutlass rag top, the um... rarer of the rustangs..
a few diffrent camaros.. like the berlineta (SP) rag tops.. from the early 80'*

ANY pace car edition, weither it be the camaro the vete, the firebird, i think the mustang even did it one year..

AND if chevy EVER get the HHR together... meaning droping the 327 between them fenders.. that will become a pc to have in a few yrs

The new 5.3 isn't a 327, it'* a 325, If I ever got one, I'd bore and stroke it to 327 though.
The Viper was a Pace car at one point too, but there is no wy you could afford it
Not that I care about imports anymore, but I saw a bone stock 86 Corolla GTS sell for $7000 on eBay once, they might get high, drifters like em
