Default Bonneville is in the shop tomorrow!

im so happy im finally getting a rebuilt Left side CV shaft put in, the inner part of the CV boot was ripped to hell and the grease conisted of sand. Im just wondering since my CV is screwed would that cause my car to pull to left beings that the bad cv is on that side? Especially at hwy speeds i notice the pull.

What kind of "signs or syptoms" did you have that told you it was your CV? Any certain noises? I'm having some weird noises and am thinking of possible problems. Thanks!

well i found out when i did my last oil change i was under there and i noticed the boot ripped open, umm sometimes u will hear a clunking around corners and under hard acceleration from a stand still, does it pull at all like the alignment is out?

make sure you have them install a half shaft. its better then just the CV boot. Once the boot rips a lot of crap can get in there and do lots of damage even after the boot is changed. Ask for a half shaft or axle shaft

since it was the inner part of the shaft the whole shaft is getting replaced

could this of caused my poor alignment?

it would make sense that it would be the reason for misalignment. A worn out CV boot can cause lots of mobility problems
