Software? Keep in mind, my previous phone was a blue brick from 1999. Software?!!
My boss has some software he bought off of eBay that does a bunch of stuff with his RAZR. Is that what you are referring too?

I have an older version of that, I believe its version 3, but it still does most of the same things. I cant remember if its bluetooth compatible or not, I havent used it in a while.

My work issued phone is a Nokia (also through Cingular), and I can't say I see too much difference in reception between it and mine, and I have poor signal at my house. Anyway, this is my phone:
Haven't had any problems with it, but I don't think I am too hard on my phone in the first place. Only annoyance is you can't lock the camera button that is on the side of the phone and it is always taking pictures of the inside of my pocket! It probably doesn't have all the software stuff like others, but it'll do all the ringtones and games.
