ouch, i had that happen on a mercury mystique (not mine, my friends) on cement, landed hard on the rotor but it was fine. just get another jack and you should be fine with it.

Im Sure this was a wake up call at that. Glad you ended up okay and not UNDER it!!

Hans.. Sorry to see the problem. Thanks for the jackstand, board...and wakeup call to many of us that will be jacking up our cars.

Ready for the good news? Pat has the entire jackbox out of the trunk of the 1993 SSEi that is being parted out. Jack, handle and a cool storage case. PM him with an offer.

Here a video of why to use a jackstand or at least a good board. I have had that style jack collapse on me TOOOOO many times.!!!

Luckily for oil changes you don't have to use a jack or ramps...joos got airbags Seriously though, would that boost the car up enough?
