Welcome to the Bonneville CLUB......Its all in good fun here. I am pretty new myself and find you just need to be a bit hard skinned here at times thats all. But all in all shrug it off and move on. You will find some very helpful people here once you get settled in. All in all I am happy to have found this place too.

He has a point about some of the rudeness towards others around here. I've seen it plenty of times where someone posts on an old post and get crap for it. But if you make a new post about a question that was never answered a couple years ago or no info was posted, everyone jumps on them saying, it'* been brought up before and the post gets locked or deleted.

I'm not going thru a bunch of posts to find examples. If you hav'nt seen examples before, you either don't read all the post'* or your just in denial.

i dont read em all. i also believe it is one thing to say something, another to back it up . i do admit i dont browse the mechanical forums <what have i got?>, but if an issue comes up over and over again, you will get jumped on. i recommend utilizing the search function. usually helps keep you from taking so much heat.

Come on guys rudeness happens to an extent in any social enviroment and it is amplified by not being able to see a persons expressions and inflections in voice. I and alot of others get in hot water now and again because we're just "ribbin somebody" .... and I myself have taken offensive to things later I regretted doing.such.

Just make a mental note of things like Caps mean yelling and digging up old posts is not allowed... link them to a new thread. It'* hard to start a new conversation on top of numerous pages. No Club is perfect but the administration here is one of the best I've seen.

The point is we are a Club and a Forum and need to stick together. if you have an issue with a staff member, bring it to administration and not plaster it across the forum. I have gone to a moderator or administrtor many times and though I dont always get it my way, I haev always been treated with the same respect given. N A is cool with it so lets drop it and get back to the positive. anybody got any NAKED Bonny pics!

I'm with Jason on this one, SOMETIMES it isn't the end of the world to bring up an old post. For example, someone originally posts about a problem with their car, it gets resolved, dies off. You come along with the same problem, but that fix hasn't worked for you, so you post in the old thread "blah blah blah, same prob, fix didn't work, any other ideas?" This isn't a big deal and people shouldn't be crapped on for it.

Conversly, if there is a post about someones car or mod, and the thread gets bumped like 3 years after the fact just to say "cool mod," this is not so cool. However I think if the poster brings it up to request information not specified in the thread, then it shouldn't be a big deal.

EDIT: Just read GXP'* post, I think linking in a new thread is a fine option too, but I still don't think bringing up old posts should envoke ridicule.

Not trying to start a war in here. Just drop it before it gets the thread locked.
