watching it on CNN... thats un freakin' beleavable thats a MASSIVE bridge, and for the whole lenght to come down, thats insane!

I haven't heard any details on it but from the looks of it the center supports collapsed causing the end supports to fail and fall backwards. Have you heard anything?
