Bought Haynes Magazine Today, Need Help
Im going to be changing the lower intake gaskets within the next few weeks, and I was wondering a few things
1) The coolant needs to be completely flushed, so im gonna get new stuff. This manual says the Block plugs, are knock sensors, does the L27 really have knock sensors? (1994) or is this just a typo, and there are block plugs to relieve coolant elsewhere?
2) And the manual also says, you have to disconnect the fuel rail and injectors from the lower intake. It states you must replace the o-rings everytime you take out the injectors, is this true?
And since I live in Canada, where is the best place to be buying all these parts? ( O rings, and lower intake gasket set )
Thanks everyone, greatly appreciated!

I can only give my opinon on question number 2. I learned the hard way about trying to reuse gaskets and O rings, I dont think the injector O rings are that much, I use motor oil to lube them and clean the manifold before reinstalling.
You might see in the General section, There is a thread there about Haynes manuals, I have learned and the wonderful gearheads here educated me further that, Haynes manuals are better than nothing, but not the cats meow.
Good Luck! you will get lots of help here!
