Hey Todd! My fan can kick your fans azz. Mine hits almost 5000. I notoiced yours hits 798mhz @ only a 2% load. How much memory are you packing. Notice my processor speed at the same load.

Maxxed out to, just wondered why yours is running so high at a 2% load. I havent a clue, not a hardware wiz.

Could be running more virtual memory rather than ram, or using ram as part of a video emulation, as well as running too many background programs.

once I maxed out the memory I never went in and changed the virtual settings. should I have?

Rather than going with custom, try the system managed size and see if that makes a difference.

Ya, I allow the system to determine what it needs. 372MB was way to small for paging. That causes aot of back and forth if you are running several programs.
