1/3 carat marquise diamond (there'* 8 other diamonds in the ring as well but i don't know about those)
Colorless (F)

set in 14k white gold
Jared will do everything to it, and it NEVER loses value should i want to buy her a larger stone someday. (as in they buy it back for what i paid)
i think i covered all the bases now.
I can't wait to ask her. I'm talking to her parents Thursday afternoon. i had to call them up and make sure they where going to be home because i don't really live near them. so i think her mom knows somethings up but oh well. she sounded a little excited even though i didn't say a thing to her about it yet. thats not something that i want to talk to them about on the phone. Then Friday its off to ask her to marry me!

very true. but i appreciate jareds at least bringing all the options that they give me up front where as the other jewelers i went to seemed to only care that i bought a ring and got out the door. weather thats true or not doesn't mater, its the feeling i got from the sales staff. There where other Diamonds i was looking at too but i would have had to spent a LOT more money then i could afford to get those. The marquise cut is more expensive i guess. I could have had a better Diamond in a different cut but I know she wouldn't be as happy with something else. Its all about getting what she would like.

So you getting nervous yet?. I just had the "talk" with her father tonight. It went over great, but that was expected. Conversation lasted about 2 minutes, then we resumed our previous conversation. I know her mother knows by now and I bet others will know by tomorrow.

I found the hardest part was getting the conversation started, once it started it was all downhill from there. Basically after his one and only condition of her finishing school to get her BA in social work, he told me that I was the one BF she had that treated her as good as I did.

If there isnt anything around make up something like at her work send her WHITE roses, then when she calls you to thank you, dont pick it up and send her a text message saying meet me here at this time(perferably were you guys met or in public somwhere). Then when she gets there have PINK roses for her with some of your buddies with a guitar to sing "that song from top gun" ahha then after that have your buddies send her your way at a nice dinner (maybe a place where they bring out different deserts on a big tray) and have 1 RED rose or a dozen waiting there for her. When they bring out the dessert tray have them put the ring on it.

now THAT sounds like it would be interesting. I'm going to do my best to suprise her but i don't know how supprised she'll be. This girl can figure ANYTHING out. so far i don't think she has any idea though. Shes been feeling a little sick so far this week so she should be feeling better by the weekend. When i show up in Mount Pleasent i'll just tell her that i came up to help make her feel better or something along those lines. she'll buy it because i've done that before. (she loved it by the way) SO then all i have to do is suprise her with something super romantic and special to US and it should be a done deal.
. only thing is i have to let her finish school but i intended it anyhow. so now its off to see her tomorrow and pop the question!
