to avoid white spots on your nails use a sock when you go into to the bathroom on the late nights, .. jk jk jk....

but really i never heard of white spots on nails, only "egzima" (not sure of spelling) on skin leaving white spots..
ive got the white spots too, i was told it was calcium/ mineral deficiency. id take a picture and show you 88 but i just clipped a good example off, lol.

A white spot can be a "bruise" on a nail, too.

I occasionally get the white spots. My Aunt'* doctor told her it could be early signs of a heart problem. That was when she had her thyroid chemo'd to death. I now have hypertension, but I really doubt that could be what'* causing the white spots. I think I'm just clumsy and hurt myself a lot lol.

It'* not calcium deficiency for me... I think I spend more money on milk per week than I do gas. Well.. OK I go through about two gallons in a week.
