Default how I fixed my pitted headlights

The other day I noticed my head lights were really badly pitted (71,000) on the car now with alot of highway. So I decided to try something when I was polishing the car the other day. I detail boats at my dads marina, so I took some pure Carnoba Wax that we had and the Makita buffer with a polishing pad on it and set it at 2200 RPM and gave it a shot on one head light. It was amazing. There are practically no visible pits in the headlight anymore!! You can only see the real deep ones when you turn the lights on. I really couldn't believe it. I would only recommend this if you are famliar with how a compounding machine works as you can do some serious damage to paint if your not careful. But just figured I'd share this lil tip anyways! Made them look brand new.
