Any Clutch fans? I've got pics!
Clutch came to Iowa City back on August 2nd and played at a little joint called Gabe'* Oasis. The venue was too small for a band with their kind of following, but they played a rocking show nonetheless. Here are some pictures for your enjoyment. I also posted these pics over at www.pro-rock.com.
And just so you guys know, my license plate/screen name is the title of one of their songs. So, of course, I took my front plate to the show with a Sharpie. Did I get it signed? Scroll down and see for yourself!
This next one is a picture of myself with guitarist Tim Sult. Doug (MyLittleBlackBird) and I spent about an hour after the show talking with Tim and the rest of the band outside their tour bus. It was a great experience, as Tim has been one of my favorite musicians for the last eight years or so.
Here'* Doug (MyLittleBlackBird) displaying our bounty.
I would highly recommend that anybody go see one of their shows. They're not a crazy, headbanging band; they've got a bluesy, old-school vibe and they pull off some extended jams throughout their set. It'* a fun time, even if you haven't heard one of their CDs before. I hope you go see 'em.

Ha ha, ha ha..Uh huh, uh huh, So tell me, when you took the Practice Scholastic Aptitude Test, did you know the answers or did you guess?, You rely on gimmicks to amuse your fans and act all urban to jack up your soundscan, What'* the matter with you?, How come you rhyme monosylabically?, Is atrophy shrinking your entire vocabulary?, Your style'* like garbage cans meant to be taken out on a weekly basis, Ever since your first record you've been in a state of suspended animation..........

If you like Clutch, I gotta say that'* one of my least-favorite songs. They've got so much more in their arsenal it'* not even funny. But I dig the quote..... well-played.

And sse1990..... that'* hilarious. I should have figured that posting about a band named Clutch on an automotive website would have caused some confusion, lol.
