Hmmm. That is really not that much consumption. Only 2 - 3 drinks a day or less. Do you have an ulcer or anything. I can't believe that you are having such a time with your age and the small amount of drinks. Very interesting. I drink probably 2 sodas a day but I drink quite a bit of water.

Not sure. I hope not. If so it is only aggravated by sodas.

Not sure either. Perhaps the caffeine. Or could be other aspects of my diet. I drink a lot of water now. It'* the best thing that you can drink!

Being a shift worker i find just 2 cups of coffee or a sandwich with mayo can trigger a attack of Acid Reflux. I had that gastroscopy a month ago and the doc said i had no ulcers and all ulcer bacteria was gone. Since then i've had 3 episodes of acid reflux to the point i had to take my Losec. By the way you DON'T want to know how we get the bacteria that causes ulcers in our stomachs....

Ok i'm only repeating what the doc told me. You don't get ulcers from stress, but stress makes it worse. 85% of the population usually get the bacteria by the time they are 5 years old. It gets transfered when one kid comes into contact with another persons So imagine your 2 years old playing in the sand box and another kid throws up and you put your hands to your mouth. Gross i know.
Not to worry it is treatable with 14 days of heavy antibiotics. I had to be treated for it only cause i'm having Gastric Bypass Surgery and once he closes off the stomach he can't get back in to treat me for ulcers if i get them.
When i explained this to the hubby he accused me of being a vomit eater...
