not BAD! and it looks pretty good for that mileage too!

i met a guy at a JY once bringing in his 89 Bonne LE. Owned since new, its 3rd trans was on its last legs and so he didn't want to put a 4th in. He claimed that he washed it twice a week and fully detailed it every 2-3 weeks. It looked outstanding still. The paint was near PERFECT. minimal swirls, no oxidation, and barely any rust. He said he drove it every week day through salt and everything, but was sure to fully rinse the salt off every day. Oil changed every 3k, trans fully flushed and filter changed every 15k. All other maintenance done at the req intervals. The engine ran smoother than mine does at 150k.

So how many miles you ask? try 590k I still am killing myself for not even getting a cell pic of that ODO. I haven't been to that JY since then. I hope I get back there someday and track it down to get a pic.

I should have asked him what he replaced it with. Hmm. Also shoulda asked him why he drives so much.

all I can say is, we had quite a laugh when he told me how many alternators he had replaced in it. I don't remember the exact number he said, but i think it was something like 12 or 13
