Awesome! Tell him congrats.

A-bodies are known to go well over 300k with no problems. Ever hear about the Pontiac 6000 that hit 600k? Tell him to join over at www.a-body.net Excellent site. Lots of people there have a-bodies with over 250k.

Tell your friend congratulations :o . I had a big crush on that car when I was younger. My bro'* first car was an Olds Cutlass Ciera built on the same platform and I liked the look of the Celebrity more, I wanted one but the only one'* I could find were rusted out buckets, but the Bonneville was a nice choice

The celebrity was my choice of car before the bonneville(*) but i couldnt find one around here in good shape with the 2.8, right before i bought my first bonne i found a grey one in great shape but it had the iron duke, which aint gonna fly with me lol.

2.8 V6 FTW!

Yeah I read that story about that guys 6000, but amazingly enough, Jerry'* celebrity looks clean as hell for the mileage! There is only 1 little spot of rust.
