Thanks everybody for chiming in!

I'm just now starting to scour the local auto wreckers ... found out also today that the gas cap door on the car has some kind of issue, according to the seller - it won't pop open, so she uses something to pry it open everytime she fills up. That sounds like an annoyance to me. But undaunted I remain. Hopefully will get a mechanic friend to look at it with me before working on a lower price so that I can afford a replacement bumper.

Any other pre-purchase tips would be great!

Pat

If the fuel-filler door is an issue, it can easily be replaced with a non-electric one.

I'm just thinking of that word, "pried". Is there any damage from the door being "pried" open?

What years have the same bumper cover? I think that the online inventory searches with auto wreckers should account for interchangeability, but just so that I know ... is it the same from '92-'99?

Thanks again everybody.

you want to be looking for the 92-95 bumpers, this can probably go in general, though
