They were awesome torque monsters. Even without the 2 available HP upgrades, it put out a seemingly tame 338 HP, but @ 400+ ft/lbs somewhere in the 2000+ RPM range. It ran this iron beast in the 16'*, and you could burn the tires around the block. In High School I had a 64 Catalina 2dr with the 389. Always wanted it'* "big Brother"... LOL!

Thanks but no time soon for me, I just dug up the backyard to get a new "Family car" for $24k+. Tired of racking miles on the GXP and the pump draining my debit card.

Stop! ......J/K.......Your putting evil seeds in my head.
The wife says I've exceeded my "toyz" account. I have some ice ones, but not a muscle car. PurpleHazier and I went to Fall Carlilse in PA and the metal eye candy was abundant. Alot with price tags. I got home and found Mrs V relieved she didn't have to scream. I'm prone to impulse buying.

I just feel like an outcast with everyone else having newer cars. But with everyone appreciating what I have, it makes things good.
