there isnt any makring to determine which posetive or negativ,e only distinguishing feature is that one sid ehas a thick metal tabe and the tab on the other side is thinner

the thicker tab should be positive

it doesn't matter as long as both right and left speakers are wired the same way.

on my kenwoods, the thinner one is the positive

Use a 9 volt battery to test it. Tape two wires to the battery. One going from the positive and one going from the negative. then touch the terminals on the speaker. If the speaker pushes out then you have it right. If the speaker pulls then you have to switch the positive & negative wires.

Look at the back of the speaker and turn the speaker so that the inputs are below the magnet. The input on the right is POSITIVE
