Welcome to the Bonneville Forum Steve. Great to see a new member with the older models I grew up learning to drive with. I wish I had a few around now. Unfortunately it took a long time for me to figure out how to drive fast AND keep fenders in good condition.

I've also done some damage in the past, but luckily it wasn't on a Pontiac very often.

The 60 Bonneville is a 389 w/ 3 deuces. The 65 2+2 has a 400 or a 455 (I'll let you know when I get it), the 66 wagon has a factory 421 4bbl. The GP has a 400.
I used to have a 66 421 HO 4 speed 2+2.

Didn't the 65) 2+2 come with a 421 Stock?

Yes it did have a 421 originally, but that motor is long gone.

They were awesome torque monsters. Even without the 2 available HP upgrades, it put out a seemingly tame 338 HP, but @ 400+ ft/lbs somewhere in the 2000+ RPM range. It ran this iron beast in the 16'*, and you could burn the tires around the block. In High School I had a 64 Catalina 2dr with the 389. Always wanted it'* "big Brother"... LOL!
