I assume by Bill you're refering to Wren? If so I suggest you find other friends, he'* corrupting.

That would be Mike. He'* got a 4-cylinder Jetta, but don't hold it against him. He put an Eaton M45 on top of it, so he'* not all bad. Besides, he'* one up on me right now because he has a working trans (reference Gen Chat post "bikini").

Mike is the guy that tracked down that maniac in Foghorn'* neck of the woods. The crazy drive to work in 'In Motion'.

Yo Mike! You missed my trans pan today!

Who'* corrupting who? That'* a tossup.

'96 Jetta 2.0l with Eaton m45. Not as fast as Greenzilla but respectable. Besides I'm not done with it.

Me? Track people down? He'* still around, just has been quiet about his driving.

Bill, this is not the time of year for peddel power. When is the new tranny going in?

Pulled the trans pan and flushing fluid to buy another week. Started slipping Friday night out with Kim. Crossing fingers......I got a PILE of shavings out of the pan today. I'll finish flushing under pressure in the morning. Might be late to work. I'll give you another triple-digit ride when it'* up to par again. (the next time your VW breaks down again, and you need a ride to get your scantool).

And don't forget that favor this week if you see me riding my bicycle.

No worries this thing has a suprisingly big trunk.

And to answer the questions to come. A spark plug had an internal open. Needed to know which cylender was dead so I could unplug the injector and limp home without frying the cat.

The Jetta has a trunk the size of a New York City apartment! We used to have a 2.8L VR6 and damn it could boogie. I cant imagine strapping an SC on it, even if its an M45!

Nice recruit there Billy

The 4banger with the blower gives me about the same HP as the 6cyl but, a better torque curve.

I have a spare head, throttle body and manifolds ready to goto Germany for work/ When they return they will be highly refined and sporting a custom ground cam to work with the blower.

The VR6 has a lot of potential. There is a Golf in Seattle with a Vortec V1, CAI and no intercooler. I wached it put 283hp on the rollers.
