Add another GXP to the site
So the other day my mother says to me that as soon as I have this Bonneville paid off she wants to get a new car. After she said that she also said that she didn't want to get rid of the car and that I could have it since it is such a nice car. I sure am glad I talked her into buying one a couple years ago. As you can guess by my name the car is a Black 05 Bonneville GXP and I can't wait till she has it paid off. Now I want to plan on doing some upgrades to make it faster. I took it one time to the drag stip and the best I could do was a 15.03 at 92 mph. I actually beat a Silverado SS that had a turbo. He left on me since he has all weel drive, but I drove around him at the end. If I could gotten rid of the tire spin on the start I probably could of ran in the high 14'*. Any suggestion on how to make the car faster?
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the Club Black05GXP! What color is the interior? The time you ran is about right. I have seen high 14'* as well. The PCM is locked on this car and no aftermarkets part have ever been developed. If you really want to get anywhere, nitrous is the answer. I answered your NorthStar section thread about this.

Thanks for the compliments guys, but I could have done even a better job with a little more time. Hopefully next time I will have time to give her the full treatment.
