Reverse lights stays on after truck is turned off

Reverse lights stays on after truck is turned off
After changing starter and replacing battery and cables my reverse lights stays on and sometimes all my lights start flickering and kills the battery. Changed black and red wires to the battery cleaned all ground spots. Any suggestions

How many miles on it?
How many miles have you owned it?
What issues did it have before you replaced the starter and battery and cables?
Is it stock or does it have modifications?
Has it had any major trauma and/or recent repairs?
