Remote start not working on 2012 Terrain

Remote start not working on 2012 Terrain
I tried to use the remote start feature on my 2012 Terrain last night and nothing happened. I tried the other key fob and still nothing. Has anyone else had this problem?

Certain PCM codes will prohibit the remote start from working.....
So I would have it scanned for codes....
One code I have seen is for the hood latch.......Remote start will not workif the hood is open......if the latch switch, or wiring to it has a problem(latch may be closed, but the circuit says it is open), this will set a code and inhibit remote start...
