Question Amateur radio in a Terrain

I had my IC-2820 nicely installed in the '04 Bonneville GXP. In 2013, bought a new Terrain, been without mobile radio since.

Has anyone found a place to put a mobile (maybe even a 2820) in a Terrain? No room under rear seats, vents under front seats.

Yea, vehicles these days are not very radio friendly. Imagine me putting my IC-706MKIIG in a 2002 Neon.

This is where the creative side of amateur radio comes in. You are going to have to find a place to mount the radio itself and a place to put the display. You do have the separation cable correct?
