Default Radio help

Greetings, I have a late model 2007 GMC Sierra.I bought it used and over all a great truck. My problem is the OEM radio is screwed up. I bought an OEM same build number from a salvage yard. Can I just put it in and expect it to work or does it need to be programmed? Thanks

Yeah, you can try it, but I think it needs to be programmed.
