My 2020 Sierra Denali radio does not download my phone contacts. I have had the truck back to the dealership twice with no success. I have an iPhone 11. Allie car play works perfectly but the Bluetooth just does not function properly. GM/TAC has provided software updates but no success. Even the loaner I received had the problem but the Acadia loaner did not. They are replacing the radio next week. We shall see.

What'* the RPO code of your Infotainment System? Or, the last 8 of the VIN?

Sorry for the delay in posting. I have had the truck back to the dealership twice since my last post. they replaced the entire radio to see if that resolved the issue. It did not and even the loaner they gave me had the exact same problem synching the apple phone contacts with the infotainment system. The new radio has the exact same problem. The service department contacted GM/TAC and was told that they are now aware of the problem and are working with Apple to develop a fix in one of the next IOS upgrades. I don't know if this same problem affects Androids or not. Apple Carplay works perfectly but the GM system is a failure in this regard. I will continue to post additional information as it becomes available.

I haven't heard of this issue on Android. Regarding who is having the issues, keep in mind that Apple does some weird things from time to time, and very often they place fault on others until enough of an uproar is created. I still see sideways pictures from iPhones all the time, and they've blamed everyone else for years for that one.
