Hey all!! I'm brand new to the site. I wonder if anyone can shed some light in a problem I have with my truck. Its a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE crew cab. All the power windows work EXCEPT the pass rear. I have jumped the motor and it works fine, and I have taken the pass rear switch and swapped it out with the drivers rear switch, it works on the drivers rear and the driver rear switch then does not work on the pass rear window. Here is the funny thing........IF I get my son to hold the pass rear switch in either the up or down position, just hold it there, I can roll that window up and down from the drivers seat master switch. release the pass rear switch and neither the drivers door master OR the pass rear switches work. I have managed to identify all but one the wires on the pass rear switch. It is a blue with white tracer on it. On the pass front and drivers rear, there is constant power to this wire. I have no power to it on the pass rear. Does anyone know what this wire if for/from, and how its routed? I thought maybe it is broken somewhere further back, or maybe its supposed to get a power signal from the drivers master switch and it isn't due to a faulty master switch. Has anyone experience this same type of response with their window switches? I'm thinking that since the pass rear switch works fine on the other door, the problem is likely the master switch. Thoughts anyone.......

Yeah, I've run into the same. I think it'* something at the driver'* switch too. I'm not sure if yours is the type where you can unsnap the individual switches in the driver cluster, but if you can then you'd be able to easily test.

For some stupid reason, the rear circuits are controlled by the BCM.......my best guess........

Have you scanned for "B" codes?

This is not a simple hardwired circuit.......it uses logic circuits...

A tech II scan tool would make diagnosis easy....
