Post Need help with Photo

2017 GMC Terrain 4 Cylinder 2.4. This is an image of the oil filter cap and oil filter cartridge. Can anyone tell me what the blue label/sticker is? Acdelco label? Has anyone seen it before? Thank you very much.

Agree. Picture is too grainy to make out anything. Since you told us it is an oil filter cartridge with a blue sticker, I can kind of see these things as possible in the picture, but still can't make anything out.

What are you trying to do?

Do you have a clearer picture available?

Thank you both - it'* an oil filter in an oil filter cap / cartridge . I am trying to understand why it'* not a consistent black cap - it appears to be blue. Looking for inquiries if you have ever seen anything in your experience. Thank you very much.

WTH You want us to tell you what color it should be? Blue, black, yellow or brown, like who gives a **** what color it is. It works just use it.

Asking GM mechanics / car owners what it could possibly be as I'm looking for evidence for an oil change gone wrong from a 3rd party oil service. Thank you for any input I would then go back to my previous service centers with your input to investigate further. Thank you!

Anything that we might divine from the blurry picture that you have supplied to us wouldn't be useful in your effort. The most we can tell you is that it is blurry. If the off-white part is the filter element, it looks like it is fairly new by the color.

By the color, it also looks like it could be a skinned potato that has been carved into a cylindrical shape placed in a cup holder with a black insulated coffee cup lid placed upside down on top of it.

You'll have to get us a better picture of it for us to be able to assist further.

Your original picture in Post #1:

. . . is like asking you to read the license plate in this picture:

. . . except your picture doesn't have a major clue emblazoned on it that allows the world to easily learn that it is the license plate of a beloved Disney character.
