I just use AC Delco. When I go to the track, that is what I see all the sub 12sec guys running.

There is no real way to make an oil filter for performance, I don't think you can really make it flow more, without taking out the filtering aspect. That is my opinion so I may be wrong.

The first oil change I did in my car I used a fram, the next I used a K&N. The K&Ns seem to give you slightly higher oil pressure, at least it did for me. I now always use K&N. (Which is alot cause I change my oil monthly)

we go with NAPA Gold, (same as the best Wix), and we never have any problems. There used to be a link to a study of oil filters, but i didnt save it into my link archive sorry.

I stopped using Fram and switched to K&N a few months ago...no noticable change, but I hear they are much better than the average Fram.

I personally can't see how an oil filter could be worth an extra 10 bucks, but that is strictly opinion based on no fact other than the thickness of my wallet.

I remember the thread and link about oil filters from a month or two ago. No more Fram for me. I have to cruise all the way out to Fleet Farm instead of the local WalMart to get my filters now, but it'* worth the extra time.
