If that works for you I then I cannot knock it, I just prefer using cleaner made for it, and that which will have a chance to leave any residual traces behind.

i think the eraser is a common fix, because everyone has one, its not going to hurt anything if all the little bits are taken care of. on the other hand most common people have no idea what contact cleaner is let alone where to get it. i use it because we buy it by the case at work
