2012 Canyon 4WD Front Brake Hub ABS Connection
Planning to replace front disk rotors on 2012 GMC Canyon 4WD. Everything I have seen and read indicate that the ABS harness has to be removed while attached to the wheel hub assembly because the ABS cable is hard connected to the hub; causing one to awkwardly and delicately handle the dangling harness so as not to damage the cable while working the rotor/hub components. However my vehicle looks to have a removable connector at the hub.. See attach.
Is it ok to remove this connector without compromising the ABS? Sure would be convenient to not have to deal with the perpetually connected ABS harness.

The pictures just go to 404 error pages.
I believe the sensor is removable.

Thanks so much Carfixer. That is great info.
Curious. Is that Charm outfit purely 3rd parry or associated with car manufactures?
My 2012 Chiltons manual has no mention of the wheel speed sensor bolt.
Do not know why the pics do not display. I can see them. I am new here so maybe I am doing something wrong. Directly attaching the pics are way big so did not want to do that, but will attach here just for grins.

Yep, I see them fine in this post.
The second try sent me to a Google Photos login page.
There are lots of big pictures attached here, so no big deal for the forum, and then they are still here later for others after the hotlinks die.
Glad you got it figured out!
