Default HHR ABS cable problem

I am having problems with the ABS system on my 2006 Chevy HHR not seeing the right front ABS sensor. The hub is new and the sensor is good. Can this be the result of a short or a cable break? Can the cable from the ABS unit to the hub plug be replaced?

You will have to check the two wires for continuity from the wheel connection to the connector at the EBCM, which means you will need a wire diagram to tell you which connectors they are at the EBCM. If you find one does not have continuity, you can run a redundant wire from the connector at the wheel to the connector at the EBCM by splicing into the existing wire at both ends.
