Mine is stuck open in the vent position. Motor runs, but only moves about 1/2 inch either way. Thought about cutting rods on slides or removing screws on linkage, but not sure if that'* the answer. I don't care if it ever opens again. I just need it shut. What'* the trick? Thanks.
