Default 1995 Chevy *-10 Blazer Driver Seat Belt

Hello all.

I am an original owner of a 1995 Chevy *-10 2dr 4wd Blazer and I need to replace the drivers seat belt. My OEM seat belt is 12375439. I want to put in a new belt but because they don't make my belt I need to find a substitution.

The drivers seat belt for a 2000 Blazer is available and my question is will a drivers seat belt from the 2000 Blazer work? Will it fit. Are the mounting points the same, etc? I understand there were some changes to the model i.e, different headlights, and cosmetic changes such a different dash etc. but the belts look the same and because they are available to purchase I am interested. I'm not worried if there is a sensor wire my model doesn't have because I won't hook it up, and I'm not worried if the seat belt latch changed because I can just purchase a new latch.

I hope my question is clear and someone might know. I don't want to purchase the belt, non returnable, and find out it doesn't fit.

I'd give 99% chance they are the same up to 2005 model year. I've seen a zillion of those in the wild and in the junkyards and I don't think they changed the seatbelt parts at all.

Thanks, I've ordered up a belt and plan to attempt a transplant

I ordered up a belt from a 2005 and was told by the shop it would work, unfortunately the belt the vendor sent me had the install retainer clip missing and the belt was locked. Bottom line the 2005 belt would work in my 95, it was the same color and the same fit.
