Default Seat Belt Light

I have an 87 Bonne and the seat belt light is giving me problems. It illuminates randomly and when it does the buzzer chimes. When it is cold outside it seems to be less frequent. Now that it is summer it is extremely aggravating. I tried unhooking the seat belt sensor but it hasn't helped. Does anyone have a solution?
