Even though GM was effected originally by this recall for 2003 – 2005 Pontiac Vibe & 2005 – Saab 9-
Consumer Advisory: Vehicle Owners with Defective Airbags Urged to Take Immediate Action | National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)


As of yesterdays news May 2015:
34 Million or now 1 in 7 vehicles on our roads will be recalled for air bags.

The latest series of expanded recalls could potentially include more GM'*.

It may be weeks or months before owners are advised of their recalls:
Air bag recall expected to be largest in U.*. history

This will now be an expanding air bag list.
For the vehicles we own, it may be a good idea in the future, for us to check for these air bag recalls.
