Heyy guys! Soo I've seen this kinda thread on other forums & wasn't sure if this forum had one but with the forum growing & all, I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to make a new one. I think this could be a really entertaining & informational thread for the other members bcuz it could help others get ideas about what they may want to do with their GM vehicles. I'll start I guess but I think we should try to limit the amount of before & after pics to like 3 or 4 of each (8 pics max) oh & if you wanna show off mods that you've done to any of your other cars that aren't GM free feel to do so

Oldest I could find:

I'd have to dig into my laptop (issues) for original. So here'* the Venom in the paint booth before sanding the Red translucent Candy off earlier this year. Notice the 4 years of intense sun bleaching which caused the silver marble to show through. (She doesn't sit around idle in a garage just cause she'* sexy)



Then she was shoot with a much deeper red. Custom mixed, I call it Hooker Lipstick Blood Red. Wasn't easy just taking off the red and leaving the silver metalflake marble and original Cranberry Metallic beneath it.

Fast Forward to this morning, She has been under a protective tarp for the rest of the winter and now out again and had a wash. She'll be going in for the final buff when I can get her up to Binghamton, then I'll wax and do a photo shoot thread. I put the Bonneville Appreciation Day Sticker on this morning.



Because of the reflectiveness of the Silverflake Marble beneath, it looks deep scarlet red in the shade to fire-ish red orange in full sunlight.

The Venom'* new paint is so intriguing. Looks great.
