I wouldn't think a bunch of fuses blowing is good Shawn...
When I am replacing a fuse etc. I am ensuring the tabs are clean, and have a light coating of dielectric on them. Then putting them into the socket and removing 5 times before leaving it in the socket. This way the fuse is clean..the removal and insertion cleans the socket and the dielectric promotes a clean corrosion free connection.
