i'm seriously waiting on an update though.....after its all over {granted everything turns out well as we hope} can we get a techinfo on this: intake fishing or something?? lol

I have a car awaiting top end disassembly, so if someone dropped something in there, it wouldn't matter because I would be pulling it all anyways

so um yeah
upper intake needs to come off
Peering through the EGR won't work, as '89 and '91 EGR are different, I've got the digital dealy.
I'll go snap pics of it all tomorrow perhaps (especially of the offending piece of rubber), and because it'* dad'* daily driver, my neighbour has kindly allowed him the use of his '87 Bonneville LE for a day or two.
It'll be a fun week or few days Good excuse to handle intake/TB gaskets too.
Hopefully it didn't fall into a runner leading to an open intake valve. If that'* even possible and if it'* the case, oh wow
